Quote of the day – Rogue edition

by Brendan Melican on November 18, 2009

From a rather excellent review of Sarah Palins new coloring book, “Going Rogue“.

Millions of copies will be sold of a book written by someone who can’t write, intended for an audience that doesn’t read, about the thoughts of a person who doesn’t think. God is dead.

You have to read the Amazon summary in that deep, dramatic disaster movie voice for it to work properly.

my qotd would have been:

“Watching Twilight is the movie equivalent of seeing a turnip shaped like Jesus: a miracle to the devoted, a punchline to everyone else.”

Well, you achieved your fail quota for the year.

C’mon dude, Palin bashing is tiresome and obvious It reminds me of the old SNL sketch that where self-impressed yuppies at a cocktail party endlessly bash Dan Quayle for misspelling potato.

Yawn. Ragging on a pretty woman for being dumb. It’s like ragging on a blogger for being a narrow-minded narcissist. It’s been done to death.
I notice the new style of your blog, but not many updates. What’s up? I was expecting to see something about the T&G article (Kotsopolous) today.
5 years, still no movement at CitySquare. Of course the local figures who took so much credit, and got such career boosts, for that chimera will be safely cushioned when the whole deal finally falls apart. Mission accomplished.
