Does any of this really matter?

by Brendan Melican on September 30, 2008

On April 18, 2006, Palin and I sat together in a hotel coffee shop comparing campaign trail notes. As we talked about the debates, Palin made a comment that highlights the phenomenon that Biden is up against.

“Andrew, I watch you at these debates with no notes, no papers, and yet when asked questions, you spout off facts, figures, and policies, and I’m amazed. But then I look out into the audience and I ask myself, ‘Does any of this really matter?’ ” Palin said.

Former Alaskan State Rep and gubernatorial candidate Andrew Halcro offers his take on the headache Joe Biden may be facing Thursday night. This is a war for the minds of stupid people, on both sides; don’t forget that.

Hey, she nailed that right on the head, eh?

This is the age where people get their news from CNN or MSNBC if they are Democrats and FOX if they are Republicans, because it feels good to hear people saying what you like to believe and any sort of challenge to your ideals is very scary.

The best thing that could happen to the planet would be extinction. Our time is up, it’s time for the cockroaches to take over. :p
