Ummmm, yeah, but I was told that I was a seething racist who hated poor people when I pointed out (‘lo those many years ago) that Frannie Mae and Freddie Mac defied all of the laws of economics and common sense.

Alexis de Tocqueville never could have predicted that America would get so Oprah-stupid in such a short time. In fact, I’ll bet that the exact same principles that caused the recent collapse will be the underpinnings of the philosophies of at least 90% of the people elected in MA come November.

It’s exactly what heralded the end of Massachusetts. Here’s hoping that the rest of the country doesn’t fall into the same trap.
