This is what we call ‘Making shit up’

8 million people passing through Webster a year?

A $160 million entertainment and educational development called Pangaea Theme Park – that, if realized, would rival Walt Disney World in size and scope – has been proposed for wooded land on Route 16 near the Webster town line.

Paul Brogioli of Milford, a retired art teacher and commercial artist, asked selectmen this week how they would react to a destination development that would draw 8 million visitors a year to their town and dramatically change the face of the entire region.

Not since the Fuzzy Grape was in operation has anything sounded this silly in that region.

Who wants to take bets on what breaks ground first, City Sq or Webster Disney?

This is ridiculous. I think we should have a little contest to see what is the most ridiculous thing we can get the T&G to cover.

Do you think they would buy the fact that I have been developing a time travel device in my studio at 50 Franklin?

Dude – are you dissing the old Fuzzy Grape? The FIRST Massachusetts strip bar to introduce 2-girl showers? That’s like trashing PLYMOUTH ROCK, man.

Wasn’t the Grape also the first building in Webster outfitted with showers?
