Great, now we’re aiming to be more like Lawrence and Lowell. Ew. This city caters to the lowest of the low. When all the taxpayers leave, who will be around to foot the bill for these programs?

I was at the public safety meeting the other night and neither Haller or Breault seemed negative about the product. They did play the devil’s advocate and suggest that having it in the arms of police officers where it is a prescription drug, this would go against every law that deals with who is authorized to give it out.Are the Worcester Police Officers going to go through a meds certification to administer the drug Also that people may think that now there is an out, that if they overdose at least they know they can be brought back to life.
I am all for it, I know it has worked in Lawrence and Lowell.
But at the meeting on Thursday they did not seem to be against the use of it.

Billy and Barbara Haller want people to die. It’s as simple as that–they’re obsessed with somehow removing from downtown Worcester people who don’t look like them. They are deluded in thinking that targeting and removing human services from the city will somehow get rid of poor people. As a result, sound and proven public health policies get obstructed at every turn and already-stressed and over-worked human service workers get harassed at every turn by this duo. Rational and compassionate citizens need to speak up in support of these life-saving programs! Thanks for this excellent, eye-opening post.

I don’t believe that BB is the stupidest. He likes being on a podium. However there are a bunch of councilors whose intelligence I seriously question. It doesn’t take brains to be a councilor – Worcester is living proof.

Most disturbing is the city’s applied extortion over the owner via forcing him to finance police detail. Why not go after the food vendor, who is encouraging the loitering, why not all that you mentioned from towing to police actually doing their job?
This is another example where Worcester’s rising fascism arrogantly gleams in our faces. It is time to clean house of the entire city administration and city council and the cronies placed in these mock commissions and committees. Time for new leaders.
